I found this site by accident after losing my son Ryan in September. I light a candle every morning and evening for Ryan which I find very comforting. I am also able to buy gifts, add nice verses, pictures and music to his memorial site which keeps me going. I also light candles for the loved ones of other GTS members who have died which I find therapeutic. This site is brilliant so thanks to the creator and a special thanks to all the members who visit Ryan's site and light candles etc.for him. God bless you all. Wilmaxxxx »

FIRST OF ALL, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MR. TERRY GEORGE FOR CREATING GONETOOSOON MEMORIAL AS IT HELPED EVERY ONE HERE. GTS ACTUALLY MADE US FEEL STRONG. THROUGH GTS WE DON'T EVEN GET SUPPORT AND WARMNESS, ALSO, WE COULD EXCHANGE OUR PAIN. MUCH APPRECIATION TO MR. GEORGE. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL WORK. REGARDS ZIA. »

What a wonderful idea. This site allows people who have lost a loved one to visit and see that they are not alone. It also allows them to take comfort from all the messages and tributes left for their loved ones. At the time of their loss, they aren't in a position to appreciate just how many people care, but with this site, they can visit and read at their leisure, the thoughts, tributes and messages of support that are left for them. Keep up the good work. »

Many thanks for creating this wonderful way of expressing our feelings and our grief. Also our compassion for others who are suffering the loss of loved ones. It is a marvellous way of offering our care and support to recently bereaved families, who often feel they are being ignored or left out. This site is a blessing . My baby son died in 1983 of Neonatal Death. For many many years i could not express my feelings of loss for my baby. Then on march of this year 2008 I heard of this beautiful site . I created a site on here for my baby son Andrew .I was totally overwhelmed with the love and support shown to my baby angel. I then started visiting other sites on here & lighting candles for other angels . I now no longer feel so empty & after all the years that have past .I am able to share my baby angels memory . Not only that but i can be support to others who are going through the same nightmare i did. May i also please mention I have made so many friends here on GTS who all have experienced loss. We support each other through good times and bad . I suffer from a number of serious illnesses and my friends on GTS have given me reason to fight on with all my ups and downs . I get lovely messages wishing me well and also support from my friends if i am finding things hard to cope with . The friends i have on GTS are like an extended part of my family . I have to say Thank You so much to GTS for having Created Such A Beautiful Memorial Site . May it long continue . Sending Love to All our Angels & their families . Love Always Janet x »

A friend of my daughter Tamzin (who died 19th May 2008) told me about Gonetoosoon and once I looked at it, I realised how fantastic it is. This really helps families like ours who have lost a daughter when they see the lovely messages left from friends lighting a candle or leaving a tribute. Thank you very much for the use of this wonderful website. »
