Sharon Nicholson

THE heartbroken boyfriend of a young woman killed in a road traffic accident on the East Lancs Road has paid a moving online tribute to her.

Sharon Nicolson, 31, died after the car she was driving hit a lamppost last month near to the junction with Liverpool Road in Haydock.

Writing on the online memorial website Gonetoosoon, Mark Waring, from St Helens, said Sharon, from Wigan, was "his best mate, his soul mate, the person I could see myself being with forever".

Mark, who desribes Sharon as his Little Miss Sunshine, says "he will miss her smile, laughter, and sense of humour".

He adds she was "so special, a one off", adding: "From the moment I first met you I knew that you was someone very special, someone I just instantly clicked with and fell in love with so easily, so effortlessly."

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into Sharon's death.
