Networking site eases the pain of grief and loss

GRIEF can tear us apart, but Terry George has found that it can also bring together thousands of people. The website he founded to help the bereaved pay tribute to their loved ones – www.gonetoosoon.org – is being developed as a social networking site similar to Facebook and Twitter, to help people cope with their loss.

FRIENDS of an Edgware father killed close to his home have set up a website to pay tribute to his life. Garry Frater, 32, died in the early hours of Saturday when he was hit by a car in De Havilland Road on his way home from a night out with friends in Watford. A Facebook page has been set up in Mr Frater's memory and an online memorial at gonetoosoon.org has also been established.
