About me

I was so pleased to learn that I was pregnant! I couldnt wait for my scan....12 weeks came and went and were fab...soon started to feel things moving around....these movements started to become strong kicks that kept me awake at night. Then we went for the 20 week scan and everything changed. The sonographer could see there was something wrong with our baby's brain. After many more scans and tests we found out that our darling Esme had severe brain damage.

I will never forget the feeling when the consultant at Birmingham Womens Hospital said those words.

Esme will live forever within my heart and she is now an angel with my mom looking down on me and ensuring I walk the right path!
