My nan was in the nursing home (Golden Meadows) in Dungarvan when she died. All her life though she lived in Tramore about 30 miles away from Dungarvan. She had a very happy life and lived it to the full loved her chat and a glass of whiskey!! My uncle lives in Dungarvan still your family will probaly have heard of him the surnames is the same Mernin - he is well known in dungarvan for golf and Waterford crystal.
