Hi Tracey
Yes, I am the Gladys of Gladys and Dave who came to visit you all a few years ago. I have been keeping in touch with Susan Dunne who is my cousin. When I was a teenager I used to babysit a lot for Aunty Em and Uncle Lal, as we used to call him. He was a real larrakin and our very favourite uncle. I loved your Nan very much. In all her busyness she always made me welcome in her home. You have been so very lucky to have such a lovely Nan. Sometimes the pain of love, and especially the pain of loss, is very hard and I can see from what you have written on the memorial site that you are missing her terribly. The wonderful thing about believing in an afterlife is knowing that the spiritual realm is simply another dimension of our reality and that though we cannot see those who have moved into it, we are all still part of one another. That is the important thing about the lovely memories you have of your Nan. She is alive within and you can carry her around in your heart and mind forever. I think of you often and wish I could hug you for comfort.
Now please tell me because I have forgotten, whose daughter are you? I think you are Margaret's. Am I right? Write and tell me all about yourself as I would so like to get to know you all better. We may come to England this year when I am over my knee replacement operation. If so I will definately be finding you all again.
Love
Gladys
