Tracey Howlett

My name is Tracey Howlett. I live on the Colorado/New Mexico State line. My family is my life. I guess that all of you Mothers know there is no pain like the pain of losing a Child. I have 2 son's. Justin is my oldest son, he is 20, he is a professional bullrider. He loves what he does and when he is on top of the world nothing can buck him off. But latley, since we lost Bryan our worlds have changed. We will never be who we were on January 26, 2008. Bryan passed away the night of January 27, 2008. My heart aches everyday, not just for Bryan but for Justin also, he is so lost without his brother. My husband and I just try to be there for him. I am really glad that I found this site. It helps me everyday to cope with what lies ahead. Thank you for all of the candles lit, and for the messages of encouragement. May God Bless you all especially with Christmas comming so soon.

A Candle in his honor
For the child that we have lost
Tears that have been shed each day
Sleepless nights that we have tossed

Our life that has forever changed
Out of our control
Will never understand this fate
Can never be consoled

Each day we wake again to pain
That comes from deep within
Unless you've lived this awful fate
You can't know where we've been

We will never be over losing him
Tried so hard to let you know
That this love will last forever
Till the day that we do go

Our memories are bittersweet
Some smiles and some tears
Longing for this all to end
Then days turn into years

We somehow move along in life
This pain right by our side
Grief is now a part of us
In our heart it does reside
