About me

My name is Theresa Cave and i am well known for being an 'anti-crime campaigner' here andaround the country, i run Mothers against violence north east and am based in Redcar at 19, Queen St. Town Centre. I have just got an office and am looking forward to working alongside other agencies in the area and around the country. Our aim is to deter the youths of today from violence in any form. I visit schools, talk to not only the kids but to the teachers too. I am very approachable and will assist anyone who asks for help. It is a fact that the knife crime in this country is esculating on a massive scale, the government says not so! i say rubbish. Too many mothers are suffering unexplainable pain, and it has to stop before this country goes into a revolt. My son was murdered in 2003 by the knife, i have never got over it and never will however i have become stronger through it and have been blessed with the ability to 'voice' not only my opinions but those of families everywere who are not able to speak out due to the trauma that they have suffered being too much to handle. I want to help these people to get the justice they deserve for their loved ones and i want to help the youth of today to 'kick the knife to the kerb'. I as Mothers against Violence use many tactics on the kids in school, 'shock tactics' are the most effective i have found, I tell it 'as it is' no frills no fiction just as it is in 'reality' not in their little worlds of 'fantasy'.
