What a dreary old world this would be.
Just because of the friends we have made,
and the things which in common we share,
We want to live on, not because of ourselves,
But because of the people who care.
It is doing and giving for somebody else,
On which all of life’s splendor depends,
The joy of this world, when you’ve summed it all up
Is found in the making of friends.

Build A Box Of Friendship.

Into a box of friendship,
To ensure that it is strong,
First, a layer of respect,
On the bottom does belong.

Then, to the sides attach,
In the corners where they meet,
Several anchors full of trust,
Devoid of all deceit.

The height of friendship can be measured,
By the sides of four,
So make them all a larger cut,
And the box will hold much more.

Now fill it up with courtesy,
Honour and esteem,
Understanding, sympathy,
And passion for a dream.

Add to that your honesty,
Emotions, joy and love,
And since they’re so important,
Place them up above.

But leave the box wide open,
So all can see inside,
To learn what makes a friendship work,
From the box you built with pride.

Smiling is infectious you catch it like the flu
When someone smiled at me today i started smiling too
I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin
When he smiled i realized i'd passed it on to him
I thought about that smile then i realized its worth
A single smile just like mine could travel round the earth

Hi hun,

Thanks for the lovely tribute you left for my Nan. You are very welcome for the tributes for your Nana, I know how much she was loved and she was a very special lady.

I know what you mean about this site, it really is heart breaking and sometimes it can just get too much. But its also a lovely way to honour someones memory, and I know your Nana is looking down so proudly on you!

ANGEL IN MY HEART

When I have no one to turn to
And I am feeling kind of low,
When there is no one to talk to
And nowhere I want to go,
I search deep within myself
It is the love inside my heart
That lets me know my Angels are there
Even though we are miles apart.

A smile then appears upon my face
And the sun begins to shine.
I hear a voice, so soft and sweet
Saying, 'Everything will be just fine'
It may seem that I am alone
But I am never by myself at all.
Whenever I need my Angels near
All I have to do is call.

An Angel's love is always true
On that you can depend.
They will always stand behind you
And will always be your friend.
Through darkest hours and brightest days
Our Angels see us through.
