I am 29 years old, living in Essex with my husband. Up until November 2007 I had a lovely life, with our beautiful daughter Rhiya aged 2 and a half. She was our miracle child, I struggled to have her with a very difficult pregnancy. Before Rhiya was born, we lost a little boy due to premature birth. Having Rhiya was a dream come true. She was born 7 weeks premature, but despite being so small, she was healthy. After a while we were allowed to bring her home to begin our much wanted family life.

On 7th November, Rhiya passed away in a horrific incident at her nursery school. She was discovered hanging from the gable ends of a playhouse in the nursery garden. By the time she was discovered, she had already passed away. Rhiya went into cardiac arrest due to compression of the neck.

The facts surrounding Rhiya's death and how this could have happened to our little girl are disturbing. We are currently waiting for the police and CPS to finish their investigation before Rhiya's inquest can take place.

Due to the press, media and ongoing investigation, we had to temporarily remove Rhiya's site from GTS. But please think of my beautiful little angel when you are lighting candles. Many thanks.
