We are connected my Grandson and I,
by an invisible chord not seen by the eye.
This chord it works right from the start,
it binds us together attached to my heart.
I know it's there though no one can see,
the invisible chord from my grandson to me.
The strength of this cord is hard to describe,
it can't be destroyed, it can't be defiend.
It's stronger than any chord that man can create,
it withstands the test and can hold any weight.
And though you can't be here anymore with me,
the chord is still there but no one can see.
It pulls at my heart I am bruised and sore,
but this chord is my lifeline as never before.
I am thankful at least that we can connect in this way,
a Nan Nan and a grandson they can't take it away
love and missed more every day wee man, xxx
