hi, my name is Sam(antha). I created this memorial in rememberance of my two daughters Lily and Grace. Lily went to heaven on 22nd October 2008. On the 20th October i began having severe pains in my back and pelvic area, i went to hospital but was sent home and told to rest. The following day the pain had doubled so again i went to the hospital and begged them to protect my babies. Again i was sent home. On the early hours of the 22nd, i bled heavily and my heart rate was through the roof. I was rushed to hopsital where i my nightmare began. My darling twin daughter had died in the womb. We called her Lily. The doctors told my partner and family that there was not much chance of Grace surviving. They monitored us through the day and noticed little Grace's heartbeat slowing dropping. They decided it would be best for both myself and Grace to induce premature labour. Lily came out first and her little body was whisked away, i just wanted to give up, but i thought i had a little fighter i had to hold on for. Three hours later at 7.22pm little Grace was born sleeping peacefully on the 23rd. There daddy held them together in his strong arms. I can only think if the hospital would have noticed something wrong when i first went it would i still have them in my womb now?
We laid their little souls to rest on 15th november 2008 in a childrens burial garden just a few yards from where their great-great granny is buried. I love them more than i thought possible and wish i could have had even a second with them. I know God is looking after them. All my love sweet darlings love your mummy xxx
