About me
My name is Anne, I am founder of the Charity SADS UK (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome UK) I am here to offer support to loved ones of people that have passed away due to sudden death of the heart.
I set up the charity in memory of my son Ashley Jolly who died aged 16. We have been going for nearly 10 years now and not only do we offer support but we also want to get the message out there that these deaths can be prevented. We have already put in over 60 AED (Automatic External Defibrillators) in schools and communities all over the UK and continue to do so, due to one of our donated defibrillators (AEDs) a life of a 36 year old teacher has been saved due to ambulances being stuck in traffic - this proves AEDs are needed in the commnity. We also have an EDM in motion and an online petition. Please visit out website (see below) for information on how to sign these.
If you want any information on how we can help you or you can help SADS UK please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time on 01277 230642 or email us on info@sadsuk.org or even visit our website www.sadsuk.org for lots of helpful information, a message forum to share your stories etc and lots more.
Thank you.
