Dear Michele ~ Sending you special Mother's Day greetings. Love Vicki ~ Chris' Mom. Here is a special poem I wrote, hope you like it.

MOTHER’S DAY BLUES

On this special Mother’s Day Sunday,
I find myself in quite a quandary.
Am I still a Mother if my child is not here?
There’s no one to give me roses this year.

My child is in Heaven so,
I won’t be able to see him.
He won’t be driving over here,
To share this special season.

If you’re a Mother who has lost a child.
You understand the emptiness inside.
Even if there’s other children there,
It doesn’t replace the one that’s not here!

So, on this Special Day for Mothers.
Please think about all the others,
Who have an Angel in Heaven above.
Who won’t be getting any Mother’s Day love.

For they are Mothers of Angels in Heaven,
And holidays are harder than ever.
It’s so hard to get through Mother’s Day Sunday,
When you child’s in Heaven, and they won’t be home today!
