I would have loved to have seen Dorothy on stage, her story is fascinating and of course being from the Rhondda its one I have grown up with. Even though her life is the major draw to onlookers and usually the first 'port of call' as an introduction to Dorothy, I think once people have heard the story curiosity takes over and individuals begin to discover her music and voice, its only then that you begin to realise how great Dorothy Squires really was.
