I originally came from the east end,Carntyne being the last place I stayed before moving to Maryhill, Glasgow aged 9yrs.
I stayed there until I got married at 17yrs,to Billy in 1964...I had my daughter Karen in 1965. David came along in 1966,then Iain in 1967.
We then then moved to Milton, Glasgow in 1972 and I have lived here ever since...
I came from a family of twelve...two brothers passed away as children(David 9months,John 3 1/2yrs.) I took on the oldest role when my brother David passed away....
My oldest son David was taken from me suddenly 6yrs ago, 31st March 2003, his passing has left a void in our hearts and something we will never ever get over.....
My young brother George passed away 9 weeks after David on 13th June 2003....
My Mother passed away suddenly 2yrs ago on 18th October 2006, and my sister Nessie passed 9 weeks after my Mum on 20th Dec 2006......
My husband Billy passed away suddenly on the5th February 2008,....
My youngest brother Samuel passed away very suddenly on the 6th January 2009, and my nephew Allan died 5 weeks after Samuel on 1st March 2009.
There has been so many deaths in my family that it is so hard to come to terms with...
I can only hope and pray they are in a better place and watching over us.
