Mandy Blount

My name is Mandy, and I'm 42.
I live in Hull, East Yorkshire, with my partner, Colin. We have three children, Zak, Ellie and Josh.
I came on Gone Too Soon because on 22nd January 2006, my family were left heartbroken. Two of my brothers Steve & Tony and also my brother in law Mike, were all hit by a drunk driver as they crossed the road after a night out. Tragically, Tony was killed. Steve recieved terrible injuries, from which he has still not recovered fully after over three years.
Mike was spared major physical injuries, but not the mental pain he still suffers, after losing Tony, his good friend. Steve made Tony's tribute here on Gone Too Soon, and it's so nice to be able to see how many people have visited it, and paid tribute to him, and to Steve too.
We as a family have been through so much pain and heartbreak in these last three years, and I dont know how we have coped at times, but we all have each other's love and support, and we help each other through the bad days together.
