While distance may prevent us
from speaking face to face
The internet is open
and has become the perfect place
To share our thoughts, our wishes
our dreams, our saddness too
To know that it is possible
to find a friend like you.
Ta, you mean so much to me
and I'm thankful everyday
That I have found a perfect friend,
perfect in every way.
You opened up your heart to me
and began to share your pain
I opened up my heart to you
and began to do the same.
Was it all by chance that we crossed paths
or was it meant to be
I think it is the latter
that's what my heart is telling me.
I know we have two angels
that are flying just above
laughing, singing and dancing
and spreading all their love.
Upon us each and everyday
from morning noon 'til night
Smiling at each other
And knowing they did right.
For bringing us together
to share the love we hold
For our precious angels,
their stories we have told.
To always keep them close
in memory and heart
And know that by doing that
We'll never drift apart.

A Dogs Christmas Carol

Dog tags ring, are you listening'?
In the lane, snow is glistenin'.
It's yellow, NOT white I've been there tonight,
Marking up my winter wonderland.
Smell that tree? That's my fragrance.
It's a sign for wandering vagrants;
Avoid where I pee, it's MY pro-per-ty!
Marked up as my winter wonderland.
In the meadow dad will build a snowman,
following the classical design.
Then I'll lift my leg and let it go Man,
So all the world will know that it's
mine-mine-mine!
Straight from me to the fence post,
flows my natural incense boast;
Stay off my TURF, this small piece of earth,

MY SPECIAL GIFT
Special gifts don’t always come
In boxes, brightly wrapped.
The best ones seem to just appear ...
Out of the blue, perhaps.
A special gift may not be seen
Or held in gentle hands.
It may not have a special name
Or come from foreign lands.
A special gift comes from the heart,
An offering of love.
True friendship is a Special Gift
That comes from high above.
Not often in this lifetime
Do we get a chance to share
A special gift from heaven.
A special friend who cares.
I have been so lucky
To receive this special gift.
A gentle friend with heart of gold
Has given such a lift.
She has lifted spirits high
And let me see her soul.
She always gives to others,
No matter what the toll.
I don’t know how to thank her.
I am so glad she came.

I know how much pain you are feeling sweetheart, it hurts so much, and I wish I could do something to ease that pain I really do. Just remember all those special times you shared with Buster, and he loved you just as much as you loved him. They never really leave us hun, they're always with us, and when the pain isn't so raw, you will begin to smile and remember the good times. Tara will have met him at the Bridge and shown him the ropes, they'll be playing happily together once more.
