Please keep Jennifer in your thoughts at this time, she has been poorly herself with flu, as well as having a close family member critically ill in hospital at the moment. It is a very tough and worrying time.

If I was an angel,
I would always be there to take care of you.
If I was an angel,
Nothing would ever harm you.
If I was an angel,
I would prevent anything bad from happening to you.
If I was an angel,
I'd give you a star that would light your way on days of sadness and on dark nights without a moon.
If I was an angel...
But I'm not, I'm only mortal.
I can't see the future,
And I can't always be by your side,
I can't prevent tragedies from happening,
I don't have special powers and I'm not sure of any advice that I may give you.
I sometimes think about the things I would do if I was an angel,
And I get sad because I can't liberate you.
Sad I am when you fall and I can't help you up.
But what can someone like me do?
I can only offer my love and unconditional friendship,
Ask god to always take care of you and protect you,
And thank life for giving me a chance to know you and being a part of your life.
