True friends will always stay with you,

Through good times and through bad.

They’ll take the time to listen,

When something’s made you sad.

When you’re feeling lonely,

They’ll let you know they care.

They may be very busy but,

They’ll find the time to share.

True friends are happy for you,

When good things come your way.

They’ll celebrate your triumphs

And encourage you each day.

If you have a friend that’s true,

Count your blessings for this gift.

For, she will stay with you forever,

When the rest have gone adrift.

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND
AND FOR ALL YOUR LOVE & SUPPORT

Thursday afternoon

Outside it may be dark and dreary,
The clouds dull and grey.
The rain just keeps on coming.
No flowers to pick for a bouquet.

But as long as we have computers
And an email I can send,
You’ll always have sunshine
My dear GTS friend.

Dear Lisa,

May the love of God give you peace.
May the love of friends give you comfort.
May the love of your beloved Jasmine remain in your heart and give you strength through the days ahead.

Lots of love.

MAY MEMORIES AND LOVE LIVE ON

When we leave this earth plane,
the love that we have given and received remains behind
to light the lives of those we touched.
Each memory a candle burning bright.

THINKING OF YOU AND WISHING YOU COMFORT,LOVE AND HEALING.

Hello Lisa,

Perhaps you don’t know but it’s National Poetry Day today so I thought I would do something a little different and let you read a poem which Rebecca wrote when she was 7 years old. Poetry was something very close to Rebecca’s heart and she had written and read poetry since being a young girl.

Her Teacher at Junior School asked the kids to write a poem about a part of their body and this is what she wrote.

Hope you enjoy it!

SKIN

On our bodies there are two layers of skin,
one layer is fat and one layer is thin.
Our skin starts to stretch when our bones start to grow
and goosepimples come when the wind starts to blow.
Some skin is yellow, some skin is white,
some skin is dark and some skin is light.
Our nails are a skin, a special kind too;
I have got them and so have you.
But it doesn’t really matter what colour your skin;
It’s not whats on the outside but what is within.
