Dear Lisa,
I saw you & your husband & daughter on TV last night with Ross Kemp. What you said made me cry! I have a deep respect for our lads overseas. My brother spent a year in Iraq with our police force,he said the service personel over there are such unsung heros. Sadly he ended his life 3 months after returning.
I have a 14 year old son who is set on joining the Army when he leaves school,hes an Army cadet & loves it.Its not what I would like him to do.

hi lisa,thanks for your message last night,it's so hard isn't it?we are part of a club now that nobody wants to join through losing one of our children,it's every parents worst nightmare.i have often heard roberts name spoken he was very highly thought of and you must be a very proud mum.i understand how you feel about the press as in the end all you want is a little privacy and their views of your personal heartache being public intrest doesn't cut much ice does it?anyway hun i hope you are coping the best you can and i'm always here if you fancy a chat.take care.sending love and hugs to you and your family.xx
