About me

Im 29 & live in Kent. Life had been pretty much amazing until I experienced the death of my wonderful Mum & person who I regarded as my Dad.. nothing in the world can prepare you for that. I lost Frank in 2005 to kidney cancer & my mum was diagnosed with cervical cancer a yr later in 2006. My mum lost her fight in Aug 2007 due to medical negligence which is currently being investigated. Ten wks before my mum died my grandad (her dad) also died to cancer..and two days before his funeral my aunt Liz passed to a massive heart attack. In some ways i'd wished my parents had died by something that would have took them quickly because seeing them suffer so much and literally fade before my eyes was pure torture..

I feel like I have aged so much these last 3yrs with so much loss but they say what doesnt kill you makes you stronger right? Well I'm still debating that one.. Still... my 4yr old daughter Tia helps keep me sane :-)
Back to my angels... On the upside they are now all together and away from the crap this life throws at people. As far as im concerned this life is hell and up there is heaven.. and each day that passes here is a step closer to being reunited again xxx

I also created a page for my dear friend Marco who was murdered in 2002....there are some cruel people in this world xx

Dear God:

The lady reading this
is beautiful, classy and
strong, and I love
her.

Help her live her life to

Please promote her and
cause her to excel above her expectations.

Slow
Dance

This
is a poem
written by a teenager with cancer.

She wants to
see how many
people get her poem.

It is quite the poem
Please pass it
on.

This
poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a
New York Hospital .

It was sent by
a medical doctor -
Make sure to read what is in the closing statement
AFTER THE
POEM.

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever
watched
kids

On a merry-go-round?

Or listened to
the
rain

Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a
butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the
fading
night?

You better slow down.

Don't
dance so
fast.

Time is short.

The music
won't
last.

Do you run through each day

On the
fly?

When you ask How are you?

Do
you hear
the
reply?

When the day is done

Do you lie
in your
bed

With the next hundred chores
Running through
your head?

You'd better
slow down

Don't dance so
fast.

Time is
short.

The music won't
last.

Ever told your
child,

We'll do it
tomorrow?

And in your
haste,

Not see
his sorrow?

Ever lost
touch,

Let a good
friendship die

Cause you
never had time

To call
and say,'Hi'

You'd
better slow down.

Don't dance
so fast.

Time
is short.

The music won't
last.

When you run
so fast to get somewhere

You
miss half the fun of getting
there.

When you worry and hurry
through your
day,

It is like an unopened
gift....

Thrown
away.

Life is not a
race.

Do take it
slower

Hear the
music

Before the song is
over.

PART 2.....FORWARDED
E-MAILS ARE TRACKED TO OBTAIN THE TOTAL
COUNT...do not change the title

Dear All:
PLEASE pass this mail on to everyone you know -
even to those you don't
know! It is the request of a special girl who will soon
leave this world
due to cancer.

This young girl has 6 months left
to live,
and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to

live their life to the fullest, since she never will.

She'll
never make it to prom, graduate from high school,
or get married and have a
family of her
own.

By you sending
this to as many people as
possible, you can give her and her family a
little hope, because with every name
that this is sent to, The American
Cancer Society will donate 3 cents per name
to her treatment and recovery
plan. One guy sent this to 500 people! So I know
that we can at least send
it to 5 or 6. It's
not even your money, just
your
time!

Hi Lindsey, I just wanted to say thank you for making a memorial for little Sam, she also captured my heart at a time of terrible tragedy and I was very upset to hear of her death. I have just read your page and am so sad for all the sorrow that you have experienced in your life. You are right, life is tough and each day brings us closer to a better place. My beloved dog Dharma was deliberately poisoned in May and it broke my heart. I hope she is now with my Dad and all my friends and family who have already gone from this cruel life. There are some dreadful people out there - you are right - but there are some special ones like you too, and lots of them are on this website. It has restored my faith in human nature. Take care Lindsey - love Lin

Dear Lindsey,

A Beutiful thought for Sam and for the significence of his life. Many Australians would be moved by this tribute especially those whose lives were touched by the tragedy and those who act as loving carers to the wildlife saved.

Much Love,

Janette.
