Hey im Laurie Denney. I am 25 years old and live in sunny Scotland.
I am the very proud sister of Paige Denney who has been fighting overseas for the past year.
Although i gain sadness from her departure, i also gain the company of my 5 beautiful nieces.
Ok so i know your not meant to have favourites but Briea Neave Denney is the most wonderful child ever! she stands out from her sisters with her wild stories and funny comments.
She passed away just this month and a great hole has been made in all our hearts.
In all honestly i truthfully thought that if anyone was to leave us to heaven in the near future it would be my sister Paige and never in my wildest thoughts did i think i would be ringing her to tell her the news of little Briea.
I will continue to look after my now 4 nieces and will love them all the same but i imagine the spark will be missing for a little longer.
