I am a mother of 3 grown up daughters i have one grandson

I work full time as care assistant and learning to drive

I was working as care assistant in one care home when my dad was taken ill it was 3rd October 2007 i had phone call to get to the hospital as my dad had taken a turn and was very ill when i got to the hospital i was told they not expecting him to survive he had been having breathing problems and his heart was failing they been working on him for while with no output from my dad i was asked if i wanted them to stop working on him first off i said no keep going it my dad they then sat me down and told me he would not live when the machine was turned off and he would eventually died on the machine any way so i sat there and said let my dad go which was the hardest thing for me to do as i love my dad so much i just wanted him to live forever. I was taken into the room his girlfriend and me sat with my dad till he past i told my dad i will always love him and he was a dad in a million I will always miss my dad.
