Kelly Paterson

Well here I am.... the person my parents brought me up to be. I am the youngest of 5 children.I was born in Surrey and lived in Feltham, Middlesex and the Chiswick before moving up to Scotland when I was 9 years old.
Unfortunatley our family is not very close, in fact I talk to less than half of my siblings through one reason or another, but that's just the way life goes.
Some people do you wrong in a lifetime and some of them you just cannot forgive.
I live in Bellshill, Scotland - not too far from my mum.
I lost my dad sadly 3 years ago, and I still feel like a huge chunk of me is missing, that's what i get for being a daddy's girl!!
Luckily I was brought up by my parents, and was visiting spiritualist church in Slough from the age of around 8 so I have always strongly believed in life in spirit, which helps me through the days and nights, and knowing that one day I'll be reunited with my dad keeps me going.
I know that when it is my time, that he will be waiting to take me home with him and the rest of my loved ones like my nana and grandad also.
I saw my dad the night before he passed, he had been slightly unwell for the week previous, but this night he was glowing and said that he felt great.... little did i think at the time that this would be the last time i'd see him alive.... still when i went to his nursing home to see him, he had a smile on his face and was rested peacefully.
Funny how you always hear about the glow of someone ready to pass, yet it's the last thing you would ever assosciate it with - until they are gone and you suddenly realise what it was and wish you hadn't left their side.

I am so devastated about the passing of one of my childhood and adulthood idols Stephen Gately. I feel like I grew up with him, being a fan since I was 12, going to all the concerts. A little piece of me has passed with you. My heart goes out to his Andrew, his family, friends and of course the Boyz. Love u Steo xxxxxxx
