Hi, I am Kathy Pierce I live in Birmingham,Al. and I am a wife, a mother to 3 great boys, Philip(23), James(19) & Blake(16) & I have 2 wonderful grandsons, Matthew(2) & Levi(1).I love spending time with my family and love to spoil my grandchildren.My life was so great, there was nothing else I could ask for.On Feb.12,2009 my son & daughter-in-law had given me the third best gift that they could have ever given me and that was my first grand-daughter, Kayleigh Perry Spain. She was a little miracle. I will never forget the moment when my son put her in my arms for the first time and I looked into her little beautiful eyes and touch her soft skin and kissed her soft face.At that moment there was nothing else I needed in my life, I had it all.I thought we had a lifetime with her. I remember the day I brought her & her mom home from hospital and that night her mommy gave her her first bath at home, And she didnt like it at all. We had so many plans for her. Me & my daughter-in-law would sit and make plans about things we wonted to do for her and with her.Easter wasnt far away so we wonted to go get her little ears pierced and buy her the prettiest little dress we could find.But on March 27,2009 my life & heart was ripped apart and it will never be the same again & on that awful morning I went to her home to love, spoil, hold, kiss & play with her but when I got there I found out that she had grew her angel wings and it would be the last day that I had to love, hold, kiss her & tell her how much I love her & would miss her.I couldnt tell her good bye because she will never be gone from my heart & soul.This is a pain no one should ever have to suffer.There are not enough words to say how much she meant to me.The pain that my son & his wife has been threw is unspeakable.We are trying to be strong and be thankful for what we do still have. I met a great friend(Kristy Morgan) on myspace right after Kayleigh passed away and she has a precious grand-daughter(Taylor)who has also grew her angel wings on June 4,2009 which was sadly on my B,day. I believe it was meant for us to met at the time we did in our lives. She has helped me alot and we know way to much of what each other are going threw. I also have another true friend whom is a sister to me(trish) she has also a daughter who is in heaven with Kayleigh & Taylor. Her daughter passed away 16 yrs ago. I dont know what I would do sometimes if I didnt have these two to talk to on the days I am really down. They help me so much. Gone But
