About me

On 10th March 2003 my son Andrew died after being atacked by a gang of drunken yobs in the Liverpool city centre. He was killed fot just bumping into someone in the street. So far no one has ever been convicted.
Since then,I have set up a group with parents and families of other homicide victims from all over the country.
Our aim is to try and change the laws in this country, that seem to take the word 'justice' out of the justice system, allowing the perpetrator rights that the real victims do not seem to have. We feel that if a person takes the life of another human being, they should be sentenced to spend the rest of their natural life in jail, rather than being released after a few years only to reoffend again.
We believe the current system is not working and are therefore arguing for change in order to make a zero tolerance sentence become a real deterrent.

In October this year we arranged a march and rally in Liverpool, and in the short time that we had to organise it, we had a turnout of around a thousand people, many who were unaffected members of the public who also wish to see change.

That Little Penny In The Parking Lot

Remember this every time you pass that little penny in the parking lot.
I always thought that it was for good luck, but I love this version better.

I found a penny today
Laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny,
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven,
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels toss them down.
Oh, how I loved that story.

He said when an Angel misses you,
They toss a penny down;
Sometimes just to cheer you up,
To make a smile out of your frown.

So, don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.

So now pass this on to people you care about
And who you feel are Angels to you..
I just did.
An Angel is now watching over you.
Have A Great Day Love Ann..xxx
