I'm 24yrs old and me and my partner James have been blessed with 3 beautiful healthy children aged 2, 4 and 6.

On the 28th Jan 2009, I learnt what true heartache and pain was all about. It was the day i gave birth to my sleeping baby angel Jacob.We found out an hour before we met him that he was no longer with us and it was the worst news we'd ever been given. He was past term dates(40weeks 5 days) so we were 100% sure he was going to be okay.

We were forunate in that we got to spend 10hrs with our little man before handing him back and saying our final goodbyes.We used this time to do the usual things any new parents would do with their babies. Washing, dressing, nappy change, songs and plenty of cuddles and found that this really helped us grieve.

We are on day 5 now, and the waves of pain are getting easier to deal with day by day. I know we will never forget him and although he's not in our arms he'll be in our hearts forever.
