♥ Remember (by Steve Goodier) ♥

Remember that your presence is a present to the world.
Remember that you are a unique and unrepeatable creation.
Remember that your life can be what you want it to be.
Remember to count your blessings, not your troubles.
Remember that you'll make it through whatever comes along.
Remember that most of the answers you need are within you.
Remember those dreams waiting to be realized.
Remember that decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Remember to always reach for the best that is within you.
Remember that nothing wastes more energy than worry.
Remember that not getting what you want...
is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
Remember that the longer you carry a grudge, the heavier it gets.
Remember not to take things too seriously.
Remember to laugh.
Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot goes forever.
Remember that happiness is more often found in giving than getting.
Remember that life's treasures are people, not things.
Remember that miracles still happen.

Love to you my dear friend. xxx

Hi Jim,

I hope you and your family are well (I read about the new arrival and wanted to pass my congratulations!)

Thank you so much for your kind message, it really means a lot. My Nan was so worried about my health just prior to her passing - we didn't know what was wrong with me then you see. I never got to tell her that I literally diagnosed myself in the end and had to go private, I think she would have found that not surprising, as she never had much faith in the NHS, but given what she went through with them, that is understandable.

This site is my way of staying in touch with her, and building upon my short relationship I had with my Grandad whilst he was here, I've learnt so much about him, and I am so proud of him and my Nan for what they went through throughout their lives (and never really complained!)

Your dear Mum is one in a million, from that generation where you just pick yourself up after all the bad times, because you have to, and that requires so much inner strength, she was truly amazing, bless her. She'll be looking down on the family and the little one so proudly and keeping you all safe.

Take care, sending much love. Mel. xx
