About me

My name is Jayne and I have been with my fiance Mark for almost 3 years.
In june 08 we were so happy to find we were pregnant with our first baby but sadly at the 12 week scan we found the baby hadn't developed and I'd had my 2nd blighted ovum miscarriage. I lost my first baby to a blighted ovum on valentines day 2003.
We were so happy to get pregnant again in march of 2009 and we were over the moon when we had a scan and our baby had a heartbeat. Seeing Finley on my 12 week scan was amazing. Sadly at the 20 week scan we found out he had some heart problems and we were sent to Guys hospital the following day where Finley was diagnosed with Critical Aortic Stenosis and Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. After much thought we decided to end our pregnancy and save Finley going through many open heart surgeries and eventually a heart and lung transplant. His odds of surviving even 1 of these surgeries wasn't great....
I miss all my babies and hope one day I will get to bring a baby home with me....

Hiya. We get the autopsy results next Thursday. Like you Im worried incase it says there was nothing wrong! We had a fetal echocardiogram on Grace so I'm fairly sure that would not be wrong. They said she had pulmonary atresia with vsd and a right aortic arch, she would have had to have surgery in the first few days she was born, then at 6 months and so on for the rest of her life. Awful. I hope the results for little Finlay match what they said to you. Take care hun xx

Hi Jane. Not doing too bad thanks. Some days are better than others, I'm sure you will understand. It's all just been a big shock to be honest. How are you getting on?x

Hi Jane. I'm really sorry for your loss. We lost our baby girl, Grace, at 21 weeks and 6 days...same decision as you. She had been diagnosed with a severe heart defect also. Not a day goes by that I dont think of her.. I'm hoping time will heal. Love Nina xx
