Dear Friends,
I would just like to say a very sincere thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have continued to send your messages of love and support for me during the last few weeks, following the very sudden and unexpected passing of my Husband.
Although I haven’t been able to write anything myself, I have managed to come on the GTS site most nights and read the wonderful tributes, poems, candles and look at the lovely pictures that have been put on Rebecca’s site. I have also had lots of lovely gifts left me and I cannot express in words just how much your support and care is keeping me uplifted and helping me through yet another harrowing time.
David’s funeral took place on Friday 14th January and I am trying to get into some sort of routine and adjust but as I’m sure all of you know from your own experiences, that is easier said than done.
I still find it so hard to believe that yet again, I now have to carry on without the physical presence of someone I love with all my heart and who is a massive part of my life. David’s death has saddened and shocked everyone in our local community.
You are all wonderfully kind people and I am grateful and proud that I am friends with such special people.
