I hope you have a lovely Christmas and peaceful New Year xXx
Janice it does get better, but only in your own time and way, we all deal with losing a loved one very differently, they say time heals I think you just learn to live with it and live a different way.
when Charlie died i thought my world had ended and could not see a way to go on, I spent days on the settee not getting dressed, but fortunately I show west highland white terries and my friends in the dog world gave me a kick and made me go back to the shows, we had a bithc (CH CharosmackCause To Wonder) who needed 1 challenge certificate to become a Champion and Charlie made me promise i would carry on with the dogs (we have been doing it 20years), and the show I got that ticket we were all crying even the judge as everyone knew how much it meant to both of us, I am sure the dogs knew too.
I think of him everday I talk to him when I go to sleep I blame him for not being here when things go wrong, and I laugh for him too.
The last 2 years have been so hard and I am now gearing up for the 2nd anniversary in November, but I know I will get through, My mum had only been dead 4 weeks when Charlie was diagnosed you can imagine the shock, although a voice get kept telling me he was seriously ill, now I cant imagine how I got through the 3 years he was ill, but I am here in one piece.
Janice remember he would want you to be happy , I often think what would Charlie want me to do now, if you can think like that sometimes it may help
mail me anytime your friend Roz
