About me

I am living in Florida, but was born and raised in Germany. I like to share about a gift of love which is the gift of life. The reason why I am on this site is because I created a memorial for my son Steven. When he went to be with Jesus in October 2008, I was faced with some crucial decisions. Since he was a healthy, young man, I was approached about donating his organs to save other people's life. At first I was awstruck, but after praying and talking to family, the decision was made to donate.
The thief (satan) comes to kill, steal and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly...John 10:10 Because of God's love for the world, He sent His only Son Jesus to die for us so that we can have eternal life (see John 3:16)
The organ recipients and their families are extremely thankful for this gift of life. Of course, this can not be compared to the gift of eternal life Jesus gives.
Steven was able to give this gift to 5 recipients, who were dying, waiting, anticipating, and praying for a miracle. The miracle for them meant a tragedy for us, but I find much strength in knowing those precious people received the gift of life.
