Hi, my name is Frances. I lost my grandchild at the age of 14 years old. She was my first and oldest grandchild. Roxy was my life, my everything. WE had a special bond.

oN November 30, 2008 she HAD her year anniversary. A mass was celebrated and so many people went. Her Friends were there.

My Roxy touched so many lives, so many. She is missed by everyone.

She was struck and killed by this man who was not paying attention on the road. My grandchild was not that far away from home, in which she would take her walk every now and then. This blow has been super hard.

I am trying to find some peace, or trying to understand all of this. I miss her so much. Everyday is a struggle, I feel like life has no meaning, she took my heart. I love her so much, and would give anything to turn back the hands of time. Until we meet again, my precious, beautiful pumpkin little.

MISSING YOU MY ROXY

My Life changed, the very moment I found out
That you had passed away.
I couldn't stop it; there was nothing I could say.
You've touched my life so deeply to a point you will never know,
I try to think about you when I am feeling down and low.
Sometimes when my day gets hard
I will think about your beautiful smile
and if I listen hard enough I will hear your voice after a while.
It's you who give me a reason to go on with my day,
and now if I want to see you I'll bow my head and pray.
I catch myself looking for you still,
In the halls and at your front door,
but when I call your name there is no reply any more!
I never thought a day would come where we would be apart,
God has you in his keepings, we have you in our hearts.
Life will go on, but never will be the same,
your beautiful smile is gone, but it will always remain.
You're our angel from up above.
You'll always be missed, but most importantly... loved.
Just one more minute, God, is all I ask- why can't you give her back;
it seems like such a simple task.
I guess people are right when they say God only takes the best,
I know enough now that you're peacefully at rest.

Roxanne
She was the light of our eyes
The sunshine after the rain
Our beautiful roxanne, roxanne
One day we will meet again.

She now is the star in the night
The one that shine so bright
Our beautiul roxanne, roxanne
Comes to us nearly every night.

There will never be another
So beautiful as roxanne
Not ever in this life
Or since the world began.

We will hold her in our hearts
