About me

*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*! PLEASE READ !*!*!*!*!*!*!*!
NOW I CAN TELL THE WORLD MY SON WAS MURDERED. I'VE NOT BEEN ALLOWED TO SPEAK TILL NOW. THE HART BROTHERS, DAVID AND RYAN, CALLOUSLY AND BRUTALLY MURDERED MY GORGEOUS,CARING LOVING,CLEVER AND BRAINY SON, MY BEAUTIFUL CHRISTOPHER ANDREW ROONEY. THEY HAVE NO IDEA, THEY DON'T CARE THAT THEY TOOK MY SONS' LIFE, THEY JUST DON'T CARE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND INSIGNIFICANT PEOPLE. THEY ARE COLD AND UNFEELING PEOPLE.

Most people in Wishaw know me as Chris Rooney's & Ziggy McAllister's Mam. We were a good team, the boys & me. Best pals, (most of the time) but we had our ups and downs like any family. We stood up against the World as our wee team. Their dad left when Ziggy was 3, (on his birthday, in fact) so we just had to get on with life, and make the best of a bad joke. And we did, I worked very hard to get them everything they wanted.

I encouraged them to get out into the world and explore it for all they could learn. Chris took up the challenge, he spread those wings and moved to Europe, covering France, Germany, Belgium and eventually settled down in Rotterdam, Holland. Ziggy, the homing-bird, never ever left me. He was mine for 27 years. 27 very eventful years, I could write a book!!

Ziggy died in my arms in January 1998 and Chris died in April 2008. My heart has been broken forever, shattered beyond ANYTHING I could ever have imagined. Nothing will ever make up for the loss of my sons. A big part of me died with them, and I will never be the same again. Their dad died in 2001.

I am the younger daughter (THE WEAN) of Ellen and John McAllister, I have two older brothers and a sister.

I am gran of Nathan Reeve (Chris' Angel son) who was stillborn on 13 Sept 1995.

I am Aunt of John Rogers of Wishaw, who was murdered and dumped in the river behind my house & Aunt of Dominic Matthews, (my sister's son from London) who died aged 19, following a car accident.

They are all Angels now, and so very much loved and missed.

I work as a Volunteer in our local St Andrew's Hospice Charity Shop.

People come into our life disguised as angels, and sometimes angels come into our life disguised as people. It is possible to see God anywhere. All it takes are open eyes and ears and the willingness to see miracles. They are everywhere. God is as available as we are. Having friends that inspire us to rise to higher and greater levels is an awesome gift. Surround yourself with people that inspire you to do better and inspire your friends as well. It is a profound truth that the people we hang out will shape the path that we travel.

GODBLESS YOUR BEAUTIFUL ANGELS XXXXX LOVE HALINA XXX

The Storm.
Written by Judey LaRocca

The first wave hits with a tremendous force,
So strong you think you’ll die.
There is no refuge from the storm,
And you utter a desperate cry.

The oceans rage, you understand,
Things will never be the same again.
You look to the heavens with tears in your eyes,
And say “Good-Bye” to your faithful friend.

The second wave hits with a force the same,
As the first wave did before.
You hold him close; kiss him one last time,
Whispering “I love you, I’ll never forget you”…
You walk out the door.

The waves continue strong and hard,
Each bringing grief and pain.
Disbelief overwhelms you…
“He’ll never come home again.”

The storm persists with waves of anguish,
Reflections of years gone by.
Questioning yourself about the things you’ve done,
And silently you cry…

You do not remember the good you’ve done,
Rather dwell on the things you didn’t do.
Another wave hits, you fight back the tears,
Engulfed by heartfelt sorrow…
Pain you never knew.

Thoughts of “Why didn’t I...” or “I should’ve done…”
Race throughout your mind,
Shadowing the good memories,
The memories that are left behind.

Each wave continues bringing grief and pain,
Though now they are not quite as strong.
Repeatedly crashing down on your heart,
You pray for them to be gone.

Gradually, the waves do subside,
Yet some still cause pain and despair.
Little by little the good memories emerge,
And you remember the love you shared.

Your heart still aches, the tears still fall,
But the storm is reaching an end.
You can smile now, even laugh,
Bittersweet are the memories of your faithful friend.

The skies are brightening, the sun is appearing,
The ocean is calm once more.
The waves that ravaged your sanity,
Now lap gently, upon the shore.

In the light of the sun, the memories are clear,
You are no longer filled with pain.
Once again you think of your faithful friend,
And smile, when you speak his name.

A rainbow appears above, in the sunlit sky,
Quiet thoughts of him brighten your day.
The sunshine reflects the brilliance of his life,
At last you realize, he lives on in your heart and you will,
Be together again…
Someday

Thank you so much for all your beautiful candles, gifts, poems, tributes, pictures, love ,support, friendship and adding me as a friend.sending so much love to you , and your precious Angel.
