I am Karen Merricks sister, I am married have two children Guy aged 17 and Alice aged 14. I was very close to Karen although I am the youngest of 6 children. I lived near to Karen and as my father was an alcoholic I spent most of my life with Karen, Katrina and Zena were more like sisters to me. Karen and I have always kept a close bond, knowing what we were thinking without having to speak..I know I will one day be OK because Karen carried on when Zena died, although she gave us strength...I feel I have lost a part of my body. As sisters our friendship was for life, I only wish I could have said good bye.
