hi,am lewis.s mum and would like to thank all who have left candles and tributes for my son lewis.it,s been hard for me and his younger brother joe,coping without him.,he is deeply missed by all who knew him.xx .xxLEWIS was diagnosed in march 08,with a rare condition called aplastic anaemia,which means bone marrow failure,we were devastated,he had never been ill in his life,his only hope was a bone marrow transplant.we found him a donor in germany,we were delighted,on the 16th july he had his transplant and we waited for it to graft.It never did complications started,and on the 13yh august he was taken to i.c.u. were he was ventilated cause of breathing problems.Lewis got worse and organ failure started,i was heartbroken.HE died on the 28th august 08,in my arms.part of me went with him that night.xx
