When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.

I have a cat called Jesse, sadly now at Rainbow Bridge and its funny how we call them names other than the ones that we give them. Jesse was often called Jamesey, Wessey, Chess and Jesse James. He was named after Postman Pats cat, as my grandson was then a toddler and loved Postman Pat. You are probably the same as me, we know its going to hurt when we lose them but the joy, love and fun that we have during their time with us is just wonderful. Pestie sounds a great cat and very brave. I hope he has met my Jesse, oh and Sasha, Ollie, Paddy, Jasmin and Snowy, my cat family all sadly no longer with me.
