ADDED TUESDAY 17th feb 2009, today sadly i lost my german shepherd Ben , he was so beautiful he had so much to live for and so much love to give and we loved him so much , everywhere we went Ben went too , and if he was not welcome neither were we , im not kidding , we never ever left him apart from when i was at work for a few hours , in october Ben had a lump on his front left leg we went to see the vet , is was a tumour, so he had an op and had it removed , he was doing so well and then 22 nd december 2008 it returned , he was ok for a short time but going into febuary he bagan so show signs , his leg was badly swollen ,on sunday 15th he could not settle, as he normally slept at my side of the bed but that night he sat with his face on the bed just starring at me, , i think he was trying to tell us that it was his time to go , on monday i called our vet and arranged an appointment that night , she agreed with us that he had deteriated since the thursday before ,between thursday and sunday we noticed a difference, and we arranged to go today tuesday 17th feb 2009 our special big guy fell asleep forever at 11.30am and we then took him to the pet crematorium at larkhall , our hearts are broken forever without u Ben , u were lucky to have us ,,two people who loved u more than life itself , u always came first,ur dinner was always put out before ur daddy's and mine, but we were especially lucky to have u ,such a beautiful , loyal and loving companion, our wean, love u son , we will come and collect u in a few days and bring u home where u belong ,, with us XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Well what can i say about Ben , when we got him , he was 6 weeks old his feet were the size of shovels and he was definatly a chewer, he chewed my three pice suite , every pair of shoes , boots , slippers , everything we owned ,when he chewed the couch it put a throw over on it to cover the hidious thing , but one nite i got visitors and just as my friend went to sit down i shouted NO , but i was too late , she went rite through and her backside ended up on the floor , it was hilarious, we had only bought a new house months before we got Ben, it was a dump anyways that needed refurbished anyway so it did'nt really matter what damaged he did , apart from the day i caught him trying to climb up the chimney, we had pulled out the coal fire and blocked it all off , so he chewd through the giprock and tried to remake " the great escape ", but he was landed with us for his life time , we had so much fun and laughs together , this is the first day we have been apart and i dread everyday from now on without him ,
Ben loved his goodies and when i say goodies i mean the best , he loved jelly babies but they had to be berty bassetts , no other make would do ,if it were any other make he would just spit it out,, just like rice pudding and custard they had to be ambrosia ,after Ben chewed my suite, i threw it out and got 2 deck chairs ,(my new suite was on order,just incase u think im a popper) haha only kiddin, so one nite when we were eating our dinner (chip shop dinner)i leaned down to my right side to get my can of juice and when i got back up Ben was off with my king rib, it was so funny i could'nt move for laughing i looked at him as said ya wee bugger and he just stood and wagged that big fury tail at me , well what could i do but laugh , summertime when the schools were on holiday some of the local kids would come and chap the door and ask if they could come round in to my garden and play football with Ben , it was always ok with me as he loved his ball and the kids ,and when the tally van came Ben would start howling at the chimes he would go on forever until he got his cone , Ben was always fed properly with dog food ( i have added this as i would not want anyone to think i over fed him on rubbish) but he would get bits of what he liked on a regular basis as he was and always will be our special big guy ..i think we all spoiled our pets , well i should say our weans xx

I am daughter to the late Isobel Ross, my mum meant the world to me and i miss her with all my heart , i will never get over losing her, there is not one day that goes by that i don't think of my mum , she was a very special lady , always there to help others , always smiling and joking about things , we used to have some laugh together. im so proud to say i am her daughter , but even prouder to say she's my mum ,my mum never went anywhere without me ,right up until mum passed we still went everywhere together,shopping and out to lunch we loved each others company, she was and always will be my best friend, , she only lived for her family , we were so close , i miss her so much, she is definatley one in a million and will be sadly missed forever till we meet again mum someday over the rainbow..
If i turn out to be half the person my mum was i will do well in life ...
You will c from the picture below my friend paula, i'm lost without her, she was a special girl and a great laugh , easy to get on with and make friends with ,i met paula through my job, we worked together , we got on good , but when my mum died we became very close, she was a breath of fresh air to me,then sadly marisa her sister passed away, and then we had each other as i was there 4 paula 2, we both talked all the time about the loved ones we had lost and found comfort in that , i would talk about mum and paula would talk about marisa, we text all the time,, p i wish u were here right now,, someday we will meet again and pick up where we left off.i will have plenty of gossip for u ,,
Not a day goes by p that i don't think of u and marisa xxxx take care of mum 4 me p. xxxx
