About me
Last August l recieved a phone call from my daughters partner, to say mty daughter was ill.
On getting to hospital l got the news that turned my life and everyones life upside down, my daughter had given birth to her son, and my first granson.. Bailey.. He was still born at 33 weeks gestation weighing 4lbs and 11 ozes. I saw my daughter who wsa really ill and traumatized by the event, her blood pressure was really high and was suffering from pre-eclampsia, she was really pale. I would have gladly changed places with her to take away her pain. On seeing the baby Bailey he was absoulutley perfect in everyway, light brown hair, beautiful button nose and perfect bow lips, he had eye brows, long fingers and porcelan skin. Beautiful little boy, l picked him up and did not want to let him go, l wanted to take him and my daughter home, so they could be together. His little face showed no pain, everything about him was so perfect and beautiful, l still see him in my head where ever l am, and it hurts when l hear other children shouting mummy or nana. One day my daughter will have another baby, it will not replace Bailey, he will still be talked about for years that move with us all. My daughter is the bravest person l no, and l love her very much, even in sadness she still smiles...and when Bailey looks down from skys above he will see his mum smiling back at him
Love Nana Dawn xx
