MY CHRISTMAS WISHES AND SINCERE THANKS

Dear Lord,

I hope you would take a moment and listen to this list of Christmas wishes. It is for people who need it more than anything – it is for my friends in grieving. Please take care of them.

I wish they would have at least one day of peace - no anger, no overwhelming sadness, and no sense that it's all impossible - just one day of peace...

I wish they would have someone who knows them, loves them and is so very concerned about them, just to be there when they need someone around.

I wish that they would have at least one person they could call at 3am who would truly listen and better yet understand.

I wish they would have at least one day with a full eight hours or more of restful sleep.

I wish they would have friends who will understand why the Christmas cards did not get mailed this year.

I wish they would have the strength and courage to cry whenever and wherever they need to – it is so much better to let the tears out than hold them in.

I wish that they would have good health, and be blessed with doctors who understand that grief is a cloak that affects the entire body and soul.
And above all, dear Lord, please give them what we all need on GTS - hope. Just a little hope to help them get through these holidays and the days ahead...

Bless you, my GTS friend, you’re not alone. My hear is with you this Christmas.

My wish is for us all to find peace in our hearts to replace sadness and loneliness that may arise during the holidays. I wish that we could all be graced with the knowledge that we still have others to live for. These people continue to need us.

I wish that we could remember our loved ones, who are deceased, with happy memories, and these memories help us to get through this Christmas and another new year.

I thank you sincerely for your friendly support, which you gave me during the past year – it is very much appreciated. I will be always grateful to you for keeping my brother’s memory alive.

What a lovely thing it is to have a loyal friend
Someone who understands us, on whom we can depend
A friend who sees and knows our faults,
and likes us anyway
And never seems to take offence, at anything we say
For friendship is a precious gift
and we should always treasure
The ones who share our grief, our joy, our heartache, and our pleasure

I treasure you, not just at Christmas, but all year through.

Thank you for your support, it means so much to me, but especially at this difficult time of the year.

I hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas, and hope our Angels are with us through it all.
