Oasis
Have you ever had the thought,
was it something i did wrong?
Didn't i please the mighty God,
didn't i sing his praises long?
If the good die young,
then what's the point,
of there being a gracious God?
Where's the sense in praising him
when he smites us with a rod!?
The wounds he left will never heal,
they bleed both night and day,
why then try to comfort us,
after hurting us this way.
We've all lost a loved one,
God took our angels home,
As castaways he left us
on this barren land to roam.
Grieving in a desert
with no hope of life for us,
Until we found an oasis
the website GTS.
Here is where our thirsts
are quenched,
We reach out to one another,
no imaginary illusions are found here,
only grieving souls who suffer
This desert was soon an ocean,
Overflowing with our tears,
The river of understanding
washed away most of our fears.
Some People drifted far away,
others hold fast to the rope,
some gently guiding the newly wrecked,
assuring them of hope.
Gonetoosoon is the Oasis,
some of us do need,
Everyone made welcome,
makes no difference the creed.
So light a candle,
write a verse,
support and comfort all,
You never know who'll
be next in line,
answering to heavens' call.!!
