i am kevin mccartans girlfriend.we have two boys kyle is 9 and kieran is 4 yrs old,they were only 4 and 1 when kevin passed away of pancretitus .kevin just collopsed at work with stomach pains and was amitted with havin pancretitus,didnt even know what it was till doctors explained to us.kevin was takin into high depedence unit 27th of april 06 and arrested 2 wks later and put on life support and was transferred to the royal liverpool hosp were he under went several operations to snip away at the dead tissue and every time he went to theatre i was told he wudnt get through the night due to bleeding.the last time he went to theatre i was called within 5-10 mins to ask me to come bk inside and was meet by several suregons to tell me that kevins pancreus had turned too a mushy acid and had burnt his organs out , and his machine had to be switched off on may 26th 2006,1 wk before our sons 1st birthday.our lives and hearts are shattered into pieces with him passing i carnt believe hes gone will never come to terms with it ,but i hide behind my smiles and say im ok when im not i have to be for the sake of our boys,we love and miss kevin every minute of every day and always will love you kev-daddy forever in our hearts xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
