This is David and Rebecca visiting a friend's farm. Rebecca has always loved animals for as long as I can remember. She also loved playing with Adrian's Thundercats and had him taking them with him when they went out! Oh happy days. What I would give to have them back again.

When I lost my Daughter Rebecca in the most horrendous circumstances anyone could imagine, I thought I had had my share of the cruel blows which life can throw at you - after all, what could be worse than having your only Daughter tortured and murdered. My Husband David and I had been through more than a human soul could bare. Never for one minute did I think that so soon after, that my David would be taken also. There are really no words which I can put that can express how I feel or how I get through the days but somehow I do - divine intervention I think.

I am alternating the picture in my garden between the drawings which David did, pictures of the first two seals to be rescued and cared for in the new hospital dedicated to Rebecca at the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough and other pictures. One seal is called Rebecca and the other is called Love. They were released at RAF Donna Nook by myself and David, the Staff at the Sea Life Centre with the help of some of the RAF lads in the background. When these seals were rescued they were extremely ill and severely injured and would have probably died if it were not for the hospital and it's dedicated staff. For these seals, and many other animals, it is their second chance. "Becky's Legacy" is helping this work to continue as well as the conservation work along the Yorkshire coast. The Staff also do lots of work involving children and autistic children find being in the Sea Life Centre very therapeutic. We hope that we can turn the most horrendous of situations round into one which will bring help to wildlife and benefit and pleasure to others. "Becky's Legacy" is helping the work to continue that Rebecca herself would be doing if she were here to do so and we know this is what she would have wanted.

David was passionate about "Becky's Legacy" and raised lots of money for it. Myself, wonderful Son Adrian and his Wife Helen (who are my rocks) will make sure this continues.

I am so proud to be the Wife of a wonderful, loving and caring man and the Mother of a beautiful and very special and spiritual Daughter.
