my name is beverley whitten i live in fulham, london
i am a florist and work from home most of the work i have done is for funerals and i enjoy makeing all the floral tributes. i live with my husband nigel, we have 3 children all girls leanne 21, nicola 20, & kellie who is 17, i have a granson alfie who will be 2 in december leanne is his mum i have another granson due in february and he will be called jack and nicola will be his mum. we have a yorkie called ted who is a rescue dog he is 2years old we have had him for a year , it was very hard for me to take to ted as after having alfie for 12 years and being so close to him i never wanted another dog after he passed but my kids saw ted and wanted him so i gave in i must admit i dont feel the same about him as i did alfie but i feel its still early days even after 2 years and i will grow to love him im sure and i do care about him . alfie was such a big part of my life its hard to come to terms with at times but i know hes pain free now and running around with all the other pets in that great big garden in the sky .

Earth Angels

There are those among us whose glowing smile
and endless care give way to the perils in a day.

They are there to listen to our every word
and show us that one cares.

For in the midnight hour of despair
when outstretched arms only grasp thin air,
and tears break free from the barriers of day to day life,
they are there to ease the pain and comfort the soul.

You may call them friend, family or even a lover,
but those are just nicknames for they truly are Earth Angels.
