A True Friend
True friends can be like diamonds, very hard to find.
But when you do, please treasure them, they're a special kind.
You may not realise at first, the value of what you've found.
They're the type of person that in your life, you'll always want around.
That friend can make you laugh, and may ever cause a tear.
Especially if what is said is, not what you want to hear.
Deep down you know the reason, it's because they really care.
They saw you in a tough spot, and didn't want to leave you there.
That friend was there to help you up, and guide you on your way.
They've given you some knowledge, so you can pass it on some day.
It is like they're on a mission, but you must never know.
To keep them would be selfish; you have to let them go.
Just the idea of doing so, it hurts so very much.
Someone else in life one day may need their special touch.
That friend may stay with you, or sadly move away.
Sometime during a friendship, you may have to face that day.
It may well only be a mile or, they may well travel afar.
Distance is no object, because a true friend is what you are xxxxxxxx
There's a pain beyond imagining, thats burning in your heart.
For suddenly your whole world, has been cruelly ripped apart.
All words of consolation, which are bound to come your way.
Will probably seem empty, and of little use today.
For when you ask for reasons, when you ask the question "WHY".
It makes no sense at all, that one so precious has to die.
The only source of comfort, is your memories and the love.
And they will shine forever, like the brightest star above.
You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Mother's Song
I've lost my baby daughter,

Hi Anne that poem u wrote in my mums garden is so nice brought tears to my eyes. Ive read lots specially in our stephs garden n some of them are so moving. Ive also lit a candle for our steph.
Ive put a pic of my mum on here 2day only 1 I had on my pc but im goin to upload more so i can put them on, she'd have my guts for garters if she was here for showin pictures hehe..plus ive added some music too. Speak soon Jane xx
