About me

My name is Alice McGhee,(47) i come from Cambuslang, Glasgow. My little grand daughter Khianna was stillborn on 9th april 09. She was my first grand daughter, and my daughter Louise's(24) first baby. She was born "asleep" on April 9th, also the birthday of my daughter Charlene (28). We were all so looking forward to the birth of Khianna, she was going to be 1 spoiled special wee girl. She was perfect, in every way, and absolutely beautiful. It was the worst experience of my life, firstly losing Khianna, and secondly, watching my daughter Louise going through this. I know Louise will never ever ever, get over losing Khianna. All i can do, is be there for her, whenever she needs me. Me, Charlene and Louise are very close, and will all comfort each other, and do our best to try to help Louise through each day. Khianna's grave is only 5 minutes from our house, and we go there very often to see and talk to her. Hopefully in time Louise will go on to have another child (or children), but none will ever "take the place" of Khianna. x

Hi Alice thank you for the candle you lit for Christi and Bobby it was very kind of you.

I am so sorry for your loss it is so tragic when you have to see your own child suffer a loss like this, knowing there is nothing you can do to ease the pain she must be going through.
My heart goes out to both you and your daughter..
