Hi Hazel!
Well i see nbody else has answered you so thought i would....
I currently work for an outsourcing company called Ventura and work on behalf of 02... sadly though we have all been told we are being made redundant. The original closure date was 9th sept, but due to business demand it has been delayed until oct 31st. I have however found myself another job working for Vodafone and start my training at the beginning of october, although im not sure of which date yet.
I would really love to become a drug/alcohol councellor but need to find the right contacts first!
Phew .... enough about me now lol

RE: Tell us about your job!
I have worked for donkey's years as a clerk in the Insurance industry (no loud booing please!!) though am currently on sick leave. I used to enjoy it but now, with jobs being timed, having appraisals done every MONTH & the obsession with meeting targets at the expense of getting the job done right is really getting me down. I'd like to do something that involved really being able to help people but for the time being, I'm just sitting on my bum & having a break.

RE: Tell us about your job!
I work in a Doctors Surgery, I started as a receptionist in 1989, although I am in a different practice now, as the years have rolled on I have worked in all areas in the surgery, I am now a drug dispenser, and am currently training to be a Health Care Assistant, I work in admin as well, I get on very well with all the patients and know the majority of them on a first name basis, I really enjoy my job, you never have time to get bored, there is always something going on, I get a lot of satisfaction from my work, it is always a good feeling to know you have helped someone, no matter how small.

RE: Tell us about your job!
After Bobbi died i wasn't sure what to do. I eventually got my act together and now i'm studying paediatric nursing in university and loving it. It's extremely hard studying and looking after my two children but it will be so worth it when i qualify.
Looking after Bobbi for 3 years was so rewarding and i feel as though i owe it to her to do this, see taught me so much and i need to do something with those skills.
