If you want to use poems that have been written by others you MUST add their copyright with the poem.
If this is not adhered to the following action will be taken:
1. You will be requested by admin to remove the poems and add them in the correct format
2. If this is not done your memorial will be unpublished until you have removed the offending items.
Admin’s time could be used far more effectively improving the site rather than having to remove poems from memorials when the rules haven’t been followed properly.
If you do not know the author of the poem simply copy and paste the first line of the poem into a Google search and this should help

Michele Thankyou I have waited a long time for help from Admin :) As you know my support ticket was a mile long I came online after going though a real awful time saw all my poems without my name (took about a hour to copy and paste them all to yourself) I lost heart to carry on a light my candles after that. I love to write and share feelings and emotions,In some small way hope that what is written from my heart can help other members in some small way all I and others have ever asked is that our Copyright be left on also the copyright of those that can be found on the net.......Can I just add that if a poem as All Rights Reserved then no-one is allowed to copy/paste and use without permission from the Writer most of All rights Reserved have to be bought and paid for. Thank you Michele, it only takes one or two members ignoring the copyright rules and posting poems without the authors names as tributes on dozens of memorials for it to get almost impossible for us to trace them all and ask you to remove them, and as you say it is very time consuming.
So hopefully this will work. xx

This will work stick to Gts rules & copyright Laws that way no-one gets hurt or upset.Or a nasty message back after sending another member a polite pm asking that they add names too (had a fair few of them) About time some-one made a stand around here.Never thought i would see the day xx

The below notice is displayed each time we leave a tribute. I think if you don't know who wrote it dont use it is the safest policy...

I like other members write from the heart, when i write them i cry buckets believe me,then to come on gts and see our names removed by members time x time again is more heartbreaking than writing the actual poem .....Just please leave our names on xxxx
