I SEE THAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE THERE CHILD IN THE ONLY CHILDRENS GARDEN.I THINK THIS IS WRONG AND IF YOURS WERE THE ONLY CHILD YOU WOULD THINK LIKE I DO.AN ONLY CHILD MEANS ONLY CHILD NO MATTER WHAT SO COME ON LETS PLAY FAIR.DONT WANT TO UPSET ANYONE.LOVE AND HUGS XXX

know she would never (ever) want
to upset you....but this will upset
her, she only ever want to make
mum's happy.

Thanks Julie - I was messaged about this last night, but I am just now seeing this forum post.
I would like to know if there is anyone out there who would be interested in running the Only Children's Garden. I have had it a couple of years, now. And I'm quite busy with the All Roads and Suicide gardens.

I cant see a problem with the site only childrens garden it is a personel choice.

I am truly an "only child mom" and I can respect Ada's feelings, but I personally have no problem with the site. When it was created, there was few very forum members (that we knew of) that truly lost their only child and as this was to be a comfort to all, we widen the criteria (for lack of better words), we have all lost a child (you know what I mean).
I have volunteered to take a more active role in this garden and unfortunately I do not have the time to commit as our dear Vicki did. There will be changes, as this site is for healing and comfort I/we would be happy to hear your opinions but being respectful I admit right now perhaps not all will be happy and truly that in itself is upsetting.
Regardless of any changes that may come and the feelings they make evoke lets remember the purpose of this site is to honour our beautiful angels and bring comfort and support to each other as we struggle to go on.

I have never really looked at it before today
and after reading the poems and candle's
I noticed who puts their heart and soul into
it.....it's quite sad really.

Thanks Julie - Sharie James Mom has agreed to take over creator of the Only Children's Garden. I have opened a support ticket to have this changed. For this week, we are leaving the garden as is.
Sharie would like to know if there is anyone else , besides me, who would like to be helper, and the members of the Only Children's Garden should get with Sharie if they have any suggestions on how they would like the garden to be.

Anyways, I wanted to add, Vicki has done a beautiful job on this garden and has brought comfort to myself and many others. Unfortunately I can not spend the time physically or emotionally on this beautiful garden that Vicki has and why there will be changes. What these changes are I do not know, but regardless this garden will honour our beautiful angels and provide support, comfort and love to each other, that has always been the purpose and will remain to be.
